Immodesty Blaize is a multidisciplinary artist, known as a burlesque star, as well as a lecturer and best-selling author at Ebury/Random House. She is also a qualified therapeutic practitioner. Born in Britain and living on the Côte d'Azur, Kelly is returning to Château de Mejans to complete the final version of a writing project she began there last year, which she describes as "a return, like cultivating the same land after a season, and what had been planted is now blossoming. I can work with time as a collaborator, layering perspectives and threads through my project, so that what comes back on the page is more resonant and essential. I'm also really looking forward to sharing a sunset aperitif with the chickens again!"
